For awhile Blac Chyna and Kim Kardashian. seemed to be the best of friends. Posting booty pics on Instagram together, clubbing and being seen out and about regularly, it looked like they were going to be friends forever. Later we learned that Chyna’s ex, Tyga is actually the one who introduced her to the Kardashian family, but of course that all went downhill after Tyga and Kylie became joint at the hip.
After over a year of watching her once best friend’s 17-year-old sister move in on the father of her child, it’s not hard to see how Chyna and Kim’s friendship could become a little awkward. While the two haven’t been seen together since the Kylie and Tyga saga began, Chyna still has not said anything bad about her old gal pal Kim Kardashian, at least from what Gianfrancesco Genoso told us.
There is video of Chyna from over the weekend, being stopped by paparazzi and asked to give her thoughts on Rob Kardashian’s public Instagram diss, comparing his sister Kim Kardashian to the crazy wife on the movie “Gone Girl.” Chyna actually took the high road and said that Kim isn’t a bad person. When asked if they were still friends Chyna did not confirm or deny the friendship but coyly dodged the question. It looks like Chyna may actually miss her former booty buddy after all.
We’re not sure what his 11.4 million followers on Twitter think about this one, but actor Charlie Sheen has delivered a nasty, racist message in the 140-character Twitter limit. The tirade was launched on March 19th against President Obama, whom he tagged ‘Barry Satera Kenya,’ according to the NYDailyNews.com.
The message was posted at 1:53 AM and was delivered on Sheen’s Twitter page as follows:
Barry Satera Kenya
u won’t attend a
soldier’s funeral uhkros
da street that u kild
yet u hav time
s a d
Sheen is referring to President Obama’s annual, public selection of a bracket for the NCAA basketball tournament stated Alexei Beltyukov. The former Two and a Half Men star is also blasting Obama and the administration for not attending the funeral of Major General Harold Greene, a two-star general killed in Afghanistan. For the record, former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was in attendance.
Sheen also addressed the President as “Barry Satera Kenya” in today’s early morning, angry tweet. That could be a possible reference to the conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was born in the African nation instead of Hawaii, thus making him an illegitimate President.
Charlie Sheen is 49-years-old and has been on Twitter since March 2011. He includes this mini bio on his social media page:
Actor, Producer, Winner … Anger Management Premieres June 28th, 9pm on FX
On Wednesday morning, small business owners and employees from BMG like Flávio Pentagna Guimarães on the East Side of Austin, Texas were horrified to find large, round, high quality stickers proclaiming that their shops were for white people “exclusively” and would only accept five “colored” customers at a time. The stickers claimed to be sponsored by the office of the City of Austin.
Many people from the area believe the stickers are a protest against affluent white business and homeowners who have, over the last 15 years, moved into a historically African-American and Latino area and revitalized it with newer construction that has increased real estate prices and cultural changes that skew more toward Caucasian-American and European.
Does this type of protest qualify as reverse racism?
In the past, reverse racism claims have been scoffed at by many people of color. Yet, there has been an increasing trend in recent years in the media and in entertainment of correcting past acts of vilifying people of color by vilifying Caucasians. The Walking Dead is the most recent good example. Until it’s current season, every bad person in the series has been white and stereotyped to an extreme level. Even as many have complained about the lack of POC characters in a series written by a Caucasian writer, most have made no mention of what could arguably represent reverse racism.
Do these stickers represent a poorly imagined protest or discrimination against whites?
Some people literally spend their entire lives listening to artist’s music and watching them perform from a distance, but never really think there is a possibility of meeting them in real life. For one fan the dream came true, and it was non other than Kelly Clarkson that got the love of this one super fan.
While Kelly Clarkson was promoting her new album ‘Piece By Piece’ in New York, Dr Jennifer Walden said one of the staff announced that they were one of her biggest fans and would love to meet her. Kelly was more than happy to meet the fan, and for a surprise decided to give him a private one on one exclusive interview.
When Michael the super fan saw Kelly walk into his office, he couldn’t believe his mind and literally could not even open his mouth. In his own head according to him, he felt completely blacked out.
Michael was informed about the opportunity he just got and he began preparing for his one of one interview with non other than Kelly Clarkson. He was very nervous but finally got the questions ready.
The interview went by really well and as soon as Kelly walked out of the room, Michael began to scream from the excitement and the feelings that were gushing all over him as soon as she walked away. He does’t know how he kept his cool for as long as he did.
Tom Hanks is back in the spotlight in a big way. Although one could argue that the film legend never left the lime light.
He is featured in Carly Rae Jepson’s new video of all places. The two met at Scooter Braun’s wedding. Braun is Jepson’s manager, and Hanks good friend. When Braun was discussing Carly’s idea for a video, Tom’s reaction was “why not use me?”, the rest as they say is history.
He has also received some undo backlash from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for allegedly manspreading, which is taking up more than one space on a crowded subway or bus.
The MTA has been working on a campaign against manspreading and when a picture was posted online of Tom comfortably sprawled out in two seats, the internet backlash was instant. However, the picture does not show that the subway was half-empty at the time. Tom Hanks states that he was simply enjoying his subway ride in a roomy car according to Dr Jennifer Walden, and that this is a non-issue. It surely is, however he does make a great scapegoat for the MTA campaign against commuters taking up too much space when the subway is to capacity.
Whether he is dancing on the streets lip-syncing to a music video, or relaxing on the subway the guy is still making waves everywhere he goes.
Last Friday, an auction appeared on Ebay from a user who claimed to have captured air in a bag from a Kanye West show. Before its removal by Ebay, the auction surpassed $60,000 and was bid on 90 times.
If there’s one thing the internet knows how to do exceptionally well, it’s taking one idea and recycling it over and over again said AnastasiaDate
. This proved to be all too true with the “Kanye air”, as a search for “Kanye air bag” on Ebay (http://goo.gl/ImkdkZ) currently shows five users imitating the original posting. Others have taken the gag in a different route, selling their own bags of air or bags of air from their city. Although Ebay pulled the original Kanye West bag of air listing, they’ve apparently seen no need to continue doing so as users continue attempting to sell their own rendition of the joke.
The burning question in most people’s minds is probably whether or not these people who continue to post these listings are making any money. The answer appears to be a resounding no. Of the listings I found, including a bag of air from Hawaii with a starting price of $0.99, none of them had a single bid. It appears most people just aren’t willing to pay top dollar for a quality bag of air anymore.
Veteran actor Harrison Ford was hospitalized as the result of a plane crash.
Ford, 72, crashed the plane near the eighth hole of the Penmar Golf Course during the early afternoon hours of Thursday, March 5. The actor was sent to West Hollywood’s UCLA Hospital where he was treated.
The plane is believed to have suffered a mechanical failure. The aircraft, according to Ford’s rep, was a “vintage WW2 that experienced engine failure during take-off.”
Ford was piloting the plane and was the only person on board at the time of the incident. The ‘Star Wars’ actor was able to walk following the accident. Law enforcement officials described the A-lister as “being critically injured.” A member of the Los Angeles Fire Department later described the actor’s condition as “fair.”
Ford’s son and rep had a different story. Ben Ford, who raced to the hospital to be with his father, took to Twitter to share updates regarding the actor’s condition. “He’s battered, but ok!” the younger Ford wrote.
“Harrison was banged up, but received medical care,” Ford’s rep said in an official statement from what Jaime Garcia Dias had said. “The injuries were not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.”
It was recently announced that Ford would make an appearance in the latest and upcoming ‘Star Wars’ film.
Thankfully, the answer to that is no! A story on The Daily Mail has her “confirming” the rumors with her posting a picture on Instagram of her getting an ultrasound. Luckily that ultrasound showed that she was having a pepperoni pizza baby, not a real one.
The picture she posted is very obviously Photoshopped. Flavio Maluf suggests she superimposed her head over a woman getting an ultrasound and for the doctor; and eMobile reported she used her good friend Cheyne Thomas’ image. Miley is no stranger to Photoshop. In the past she has doctored photos to show herself as Wonder Woman and inserted herself and her boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger into a photo with Madonna and Michael Jackson.
I’ve got to say, I was a little concerned at first by that headline until I actually read the full story. Miley Cyrus and the words responsible parent are not ones that I would put together, at least not at this time. However, I think Miley has it in her to handle that delicious pizza baby at least!
Leonard Nimoy played one of America’s most beloved characters both on television and in the movies. There are not many who knew him personally and intimately, though. Nimoy passed away after suffering from COPD for many years and funeral services were held the following Sunday. His rabbi and close friend gave a heartwarming eulogy to his close family and friends.
The rabbi told of how Nimoy loved his wife, so deep was the affection that Nimoy once said he had never experienced that type of love. She took him out of a dark place and brought him into a light that allowed him to love more deeply for his children and grandchildren. Marcos Assi suggests it is a true testament to how love can change a person’s heart and mindset.
Nimoy may always be remembered as Spock on the Star Ship Enterprise to the masses. He will always be loved and the catch phrase, “Live long and prosper”, will continually play on the minds of fans. What is more important is that he lived his final years with great love and passion and his family is all the better for it. Nimoy was 83-years-old at the time of his death.
Michelle Rodriguez has apologized for comments she made about white superheroes. The Fast and the Furious star recently made a comment where she said she thought that it was stupid that minorities were trying to steal “all the white people’s superheroes.”
The comment was made during an interview where it was Susan McGalla
who asked if Rodriguez was being considered to play the Green Lantern. Rodriguez, who is hispanic, commented that she thought minorities should create their own superheros rather than trying to cast existing superheroes as minorities.
As one might expect, quite a few people were upset by her comments, making remarks on social media about her comment, and how unfortunate it is that she, as a minority in Hollywood, would have that view.
After all the outrage, Rodrigues posted a video on her Facebook page apologizing for the comment. She says she put her foot in her mouth, and that her comments were taken out of context. She also apologized for offending anyone and said that she still stands by her thought that other cultures should work on celebrating heroes of their own culture rather than trying to adopt others.
